Maps with potential route options for Fargo-St. Cloud 345-kV transmission line project

Since filing a Certificate of Need application with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MN PUC) in August 2007, the individual CapX2020 project teams met with landowners, local and state officials, community leaders, agencies, and environmental and other interested parties to collect input for the development of transmission line route options. The Fargo-St. Cloud-Monticello project team filed a Route Permit application for St. Cloud-Monticello on April 8, 2009 and will file a Route Permit application for Fargo-St. Cloud in late fall. Similar review, permit and approval processes are required by the North Dakota Public Service Commission. The state regulatory agencies will make the final route determination.
