Maps of potential
routes for Fargo-St. Cloud 345-kV transmission line
project
Since filing a Certificate of Need application with
the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MN PUC) in
August 2007, the individual CapX2020 project teams have
been meeting with landowners, local and state officials,
community leaders, agencies, environmental and other
interested parties to collect input for the development
of route options that will be included in a Minnesota
Route Permit. The Fargo-St. Cloud Route Permit application
was filed October 1, 2009. The Monticello-St. Cloud Route
Permit application was filed in April 2009. Similar review,
permit and approval processes are required by the North
Dakota Public Service Commission. State regulatory agencies
make the final route determination. See also Maps
of potential routes for St. Cloud-Monticello 345-kV transmission
line project.
